I remember the anticipation and excitement standing at the bottom of these steps. I never thought that I would see this in person. I wanted to savor everything about it. The air was so clean and crisp but not cold. It was quiet except for a few muffled voices. At the top of the steps we stopped and asked for directions. Kevin saw the shrine first and I walked up to him slowly we both just stood there and smiled, not speaking we had no words, we just smiled. One of my favorite moments in life.
